Romantic Sailing In The Whitsundays

Sailing is the classic way for couples to see the islands. A sunset sail around Pioneer Bay, a full day on a classic timber yacht or a sailing catamaran, or a night anchored in the islands.

Local knowledge

Catamarans stay upright and are more comfortable, which suits most couples. Maxi yachts are built to race and sail on their sides, so they are for the adventure traveller.

If you are staying overnight, be prepared for hot, humid nights, as most overnight sailing boats do not have air conditioning.
