Reefsleep is Great Barrier Reef accommodation in its simplest form: a night under the stars at Reefworld, the Cruise Whitsundays pontoon moored at Hardy Reef, around 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach. It is an amazing way of spending a night on the Great Barrier Reef.
The trip starts with a journey through the Whitsunday Islands to Hardy Reef on a high-speed boat, arriving at the reef at around 11am. From there the day is spent snorkelling, joining the semi-submersible coral viewing tour and visiting the underwater viewing chamber. Scuba diving and scenic helicopter flights over Heart Reef are available at an added cost.
Day guests leave mid-afternoon, and from then on overnight visitors have Hardy Reef and Reefworld all to themselves. Watch a gorgeous twilight with a drink in hand before a starlit long-table dinner on the pontoon's upper deck.
After dinner, Reefsleep guests stay on deck in a purpose-built outdoor Reefbed and gaze at the stars. The next day brings a relaxed breakfast and a private morning on the reef before heading home in the afternoon with memories that will stick around forever.

The cruise leaves from the Cruise Whitsundays Terminal at Port of Airlie, 24 The Cove Road, Airlie Beach QLD 4802, and travels through the Whitsunday Islands on a high-speed boat.
Reefworld At Hardy Reef
Arrive at the Reefworld pontoon and get straight into the reef: snorkelling, the guided snorkelling tour, semi-submersible coral viewing and the underwater viewing chamber. Lunch is served on board. Scuba diving, helicopter flights and massage can be purchased on board.
Sunset And Dinner Under The Stars
Day guests leave mid-afternoon and overnight guests have Hardy Reef and Reefworld to themselves. Sunset drinks are followed by a long-table dinner on the upper deck.

Reefsleep guests sleep on deck in a purpose-built outdoor Reefbed under the stars, with all linen and towels supplied.
A Private Morning On The Reef
A relaxed breakfast and a quiet morning on the reef before the day boat arrives, with more time for snorkelling and lunch before the afternoon cruise home.

A medical and dietary requirement form needs to be completed once the booking is confirmed.
All divers are subject to a medical questionnaire, and fitness to dive is assessed by the diving instructor. A history of certain medical conditions may preclude a guest from scuba diving unless a current Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the instructor.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible, has a minimum age of 6 years, and operates in all weather conditions.
