The Purely Whitehaven Day Tour by Island Connections, previously known as the Whitehaven Beach Big Island Day Tour, is one of a kind. Cruise in air-conditioned comfort on a modern catamaran with a rooftop observation deck, built to give you a splendid day on the water.
The tour stops at Tongue Point for a guided walk up to the lookout over Hill Inlet, then anchors at Whitehaven Beach for up to 2 hours. Guides also lead the way to the Whitehaven Beach lookouts, with views along the full length of Whitehaven and south to Pentecost Island and the Lindeman group of islands.

Nara Inlet and Hook Passage

Departure point: Shute Harbour Marine Terminal. Hotel pick-ups take place about an hour before departure, so reconfirm your pick-up location 24 hours before the tour.
Departure time: 9:00am, with check-in 30 minutes prior.
Return details: Returns to the original departure point at around 5:00pm.

Confirmation is received at the time of booking. The tour is not wheelchair accessible but is stroller accessible, and infants must sit on laps. It is not recommended for travellers with back problems, heart problems or other serious medical conditions, and travellers should have a moderate level of physical fitness.

Cancellation policy: Cancel at least 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are not refunded, and changes made less than 24 hours before the start time are not accepted. Cut-off times are based on local time.
