- Pack your swimmers, towel and sunscreen – it’s like a day at the beach!
- We’ll hand out dry bags for your towel and phone/camera on the Ultimate Island Trek.
- Don’t worry about safety; our qualified tour guides provide thorough briefings and demonstrations.
- Rest easy knowing that a qualified guide will supervise your tour at all times.
- Keep in mind that weight restrictions apply: maximum 2 people or 220kg per jetski.
- The minimum driver age is 16 years old and the passenger age is 8 years old.
- If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must sign an indemnity form before the tour starts.
- Group bookings can accommodate up to 18 jetskis per tour (that’s up to 24 people).
- Remember we also offer gift vouchers as an option.
- As a basic wind guide: expect smooth rides at 10 knots, partly smooth with small waves at 15 knots, choppy waters with larger waves at over 20 knots.
- Management may alter itineraries or schedules in extreme weather conditions for safety reasons.

Is jet ski experience necessary? No worries there! Our guide will fill you in on all the nitty-gritty details. Plus, we’ve got all your safety gear ready.
What should I put on and bring along? Just throw on something casual and slap some sunscreen. And hey, don’t forget to pack your spirit of adventure! We’ll outfit you with all the necessary riding apparel and safety equipment for the jet ski ride.
What riding gear and safety tools are included? You’ll be given thermal tops, wetsuit shorts, polarised shades or goggles, a hat and of course, highly visible lifejackets for your safety.
Where can I stash my stuff or valuables? Given our tour’s adventurous nature, leaving your precious items at home or your place of stay might be best. However, each jet ski comes equipped with a dry bag in a secure glove box that is water-resistant for storing your essential items. We also have a safe office at Abell Point Marina where you can leave any belongings.
How many folks can fit on one jet ski? A pair of adults can go twin share. Or if you’d like to take control yourself – go solo!
Are these tours family-friendly? Absolutely! Our adventures make an amazing day out for families too! The minimum age requirement is 16 years for drivers; as passengers they must be 8 years old for the Airlie Adventure or 12 years old for the Two Island Safari. If the driver is under 18 years old though, an indemnity form needs to be signed by their parent or guardian before setting off.
What’s the age range allowed here? The age limits are the same as mentioned above; no maximum age limit exists so long as you’re physically capable of handling a jetski!
Is there a weight cap per jetski ride? Indeed there is – two adults max per jetski ride or up to 230kg per jetski.

A signed release will be required from all participants on departure. We recommend you take out travel insurance and assess your suitability to this activity prior to commencement.
Whitsunday Jetski Tours’ cancellation policy:
Cancellations made by guests after 6pm the night before tour or ‘no show’ may incur a 100% charge. If a cancellation by operator is necessary guests will be offered an alternate day or full refund.
