Did an afternoon fishing charter with Andrew yesterday and cannot speak highly of his fishing and general knowledge. At short notice after another charter cancelled, he accommodated me and I had an absolute blast. Caught lots of fish, including a black tip reef shark!Andrew took the time to also fillet the fish and shark for me!I did a larger fishing charter recently down on the Gold Coast, and hands down this was much more personal experience. Anyone wanting to support smaller business should absolutely go on this charter!!!Thanks again Andrew!

Not one to leave reviews but there are exceptions and that is Get Out & About Whitsundays! You could not find a better skipper or charter than Andrew. Second trip this year and delivered a great experience once again. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and knows where to find the fish, we would not go to anyone else in Airlie Beach. Had a great arvo out with Skipper Andrew, caught generous amount of fish due to Skipper's local knowledge and care in making sure everyone had what they needed. Would highly recommend and will be back when next anywhere near Airlie Beach.

Been meaning to go out with Andrew for the last couple of years. I finally got to do it.The fish were not playing well, but we did multiple drifts, changes of baits, and all on board got some fish. I totally enjoyed being taken fishing and just soaked up the experience of someone who knows what they are doing. Also the fillets were amazing. We got to watch Andrew fillet them from Sorrentos with a nice cold glass of beer. When you are down Vic way I will guide you onto a trout or 2. Great day.

Even though I personally spent the bigger half of our day curled up in fetal position (due to unforeseen flu-induced seasickness), we had a great time fishing. Soon as we cast the first rod we caught a fish 👍 Andrew obviously knows his trade & where to find the fish, brings a great sense of humour and plenty of snacks to keep everybody fed and hydrated (but will not scold you if a snack comes back out, as long as you aim down-wind outside the boat..). Definitely helps to have a skipper that can make you laugh despite the nausea. Cheers ol mate 😄

We had the best time on our charter with Andrew! He is super knowledgeable and shares his insights during the trip. Although the weather was challenging on our charter day, Andrew was able to come up with a plan and locate fish despite the conditions. We returned home with enough for two meals of fresh fish, filleted by Andrew when we returned to shore. We will definitely be returning customers!

Had an amazing morning out fishing with Andrew. Very knowledgeable and it only literally took 2 minutes before I was reeling in fish.Caught plenty of fish and took home a plenty for a good feed also. I’ve never tasted fish this fresh before.Andrew was attentive to my needs on the day. There was nothing that was to much trouble. Highly recommend this charter to anyone wanting to take home a good feed.Andrew does all the cleaning of your catch and sends you home with a bag full of fresh fish. I couldn’t have asked for a better morning. We did the 6am 1/2 day and it exceeded all expectations. Andrew was an unbelievable captain and helped fillet all our fish whilst stilling managing to help us pull in sharks! If you love fishing, you’ll love this trip. Superb morning.

Can't recommend enough, just do it, you won't regret it. Jimmy was amazing, passionate, and as excited as us when we landed a big one. He will help you reel them in or you can do it all yourself. Jimmy cleaned and fileted all the fish for us too. We did the 6am start 1/2 day and it was perfect although I could have stayed out all day around the beautiful islands. Thanks Jimmy for an unforgettable experience.

Andrew was a wonderful host, patiently teaching my mom and I (first time charter fishing) on a half-day trip. We were taken to some fantastic spots suitable for our skill level and caught way more fish (varieties and numbers) than I expected! Thanks also to Samantha for preparing some fresh land-foods for us to have out on the water in the morning too ❤️ I can’t seem to share photos but we went home with a tropical snapper, grass emperor and a school mackerel which Andrew wonderfully cleaned and packed for us

Reel good! Took a 3/4day shared boat and it was great. Caught some very nice keepers and caught heaps overall. Captain had lots of knowledge and fun. lunch was very nice too and booking went smooth. Will go with them again!

Had a fantastic day. The trip was tailored to what my right year old son and I wanted with a tour around the islands out to Whitehaven and a lot of fishing. The lunch was fresh and there was more than enough. Andrew is very knowledgeable and if he isn't sure he tells you so. He looked after my son with a few different rods so it would pay to let him know if your taking kids. He was more than happy to give my son advice. We will be back.
