This Whitsundays Tour Features

Whitehaven Beach

Ocean Rafting Northern Tour visits Whitehaven Beach for around 90 minutes. During this time you embark on a bush-walk from the Hill inlet passage (northern end of Whitehaven), this walk takes approximately 15 minutes, once at the top you will experience Whitehaven Beach above on the viewing platform called Hill Inlet Lookout. This breathtaking view from here lets you see all 7 km of the beach as well as the world-famous swirling sands that form the inlet.

Snorkeling

During your Ocean Rafting tour, you will get two opportunities to snorkel the coral-filled bays on the coastal fringes of the islands. Here you can see turtles, Maori wrasse, bat fish, parrot fish, clown fish (Nemo) plus plenty more! In most bays, the coral starts close to shore and is easily accessible by the small tender boats. For the non-confident swimmers, there are noodles and flotation devices available for safety.

CANCELLATION POLICY & COSTS

Cancellations are accepted up until 7.00pm the night prior to the tour.

All fares are inclusive of Marine Park fees, National Park fees & GST. Sites are weather & tide permitting. Ocean Rafting reserves the right to charge our customers a fuel levy if fuel is over $1.50 per litre and the right to arrange alternative itinerary when necessary. Liability: Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of the clients which are beyond our control. Tours are not suitable for guests with pre-existing back, neck or hip injuries or who are pregnant. Minimum age 6 months. A signed release will be required from all participants on departure. We recommend you take out travel insurance. Fitness & Heath: Although good health and a positive attitude are essential, you do not need any prior experience to partake in any of the activities and tours. Ocean Rafting may use photographs of our clients in promotional material, including but not limited to social media, however if you do not consent please advise Ocean Rafting.
