Originally built in Tasmania in the 1940s this beautiful sailing boat has kept to its original traditions to this day. Departure and Return
This Tour Departs Abell Point Marina, Airlie Beach, every day at 8:00pm. with a meeting time of 7.30am and returns later that day at 4.30pm

Snorkeling The Reef
During your sailing day tour you will get at least the opportunitiy to snorkel the coral filled bays on the coastal fringes of the islands. Here you can see turtles, Maori rasse, bat fish, parrot fish , clown fish (nemo) plus plenty more! in most bays the coral starts close to shore and is easily accessible by the small tender boats. For the non confident swimmers there are noodles and flotation devices available for safety.
Learn to Sail
The crew are more than happy to teach you the basics of sailing. Get involved helping the crew hoist the main sail and head sail. The qualified team on board will give you lessons, and if you’re lucky you may get to stand at the helm and steer the boat towards your next destination. This is optional if you do not wish to participate you can just lye back and enjoy the ride.

Departs: Abell Point Marina South, Airlie Beach. Meeting time is 7.30am at Abell Point Marina South Meeting Point (next to Abel Point Yacht Club) OR a free courtesy bus is provided from BASE Bus Stop at 7.25am or Domino’s Pizza at 7.20am. Please advise when booking/reconfirming.

Prices do not include air fares ro transfers. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure will result in complete forfeiture of the full price. We reserve the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason.
Due to Airlie Beach being located in the tropics we can occasionally experience inclement weather. We recommend you purchase Travel Insurance which would cover for such things as Road Closures, flight, bus or tour cancellations.

At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Stinger Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise.
